Information Stored On Your Device

The app stores information locally so it can remember your study state:

• answer history, scores, review scheduling, completed attempts, and timing averages;
• settings such as theme, font size, timed mode, reminder preference, and reminder time;
• a random app-generated device identifier used to distinguish grading and report requests;
• cached startup notices and downloaded practice content assets.

You can reset local progress from the app. You can also remove local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's storage through your device or browser settings.

Information Sent To Online Services

The app may contact online services for the features below. Like most internet services, those services may receive standard technical connection information such as IP address, user agent, request time, and basic diagnostics needed to deliver and secure the service.

• Content updates. The app may request version files, manifests, and updated practice content from the configured content host.
• Startup notices. The app may request a small hosted notification file so it can show app news or release messages.
• Google Drive progress backup. If this feature is available and you choose to use it, the app may upload a backup of your study progress, settings, answer history, completed attempts, and constructed-response text or grading results to your Google Drive. The grading service does not receive your Google Drive credentials.
• Constructed-response grading. If backend grading is enabled and you submit a translation, essay, or short-answer response, the app sends the response text, selected choices, prompt, answer key, rubric, request ID, session and item IDs, app version, locale, and the random app device identifier to the grading service. The grading service may process the prompt, rubric, answer key, and response using a configured AI grading provider, currently DeepSeek, when local grading is not enough.
• Content error reports. If you report a content issue, the app sends the report category, your note, target question or set IDs, title or excerpt, app version, locale, report ID, timestamp, and the random app device identifier. Reports may be stored by the grading service and, when configured, may create an issue in the app's GitHub repository.

Information We Ask You Not To Submit

Do not include sensitive personal information in practice answers, essays, translations, content report notes, or any other free-text field. This includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, government IDs, payment details, health information, or private details about other people.

How We Use Information

We use information only for app operation and improvement, including to:

• save your local study progress and preferences;
• back up and restore your progress if you choose to use Google Drive backup;
• deliver updated content and app notices;
• grade constructed-response practice and return feedback;
• prevent duplicate grading requests, audit grading quality, and manage service usage;
• investigate and fix content errors that users report;
• maintain security, debug failures, and prevent abuse of the service.

Sharing And Service Providers

We do not sell personal information. We may share the minimum information needed with service providers that help operate the app, including:

• Cloudflare, for hosting the grading service and database;
• the configured AI grading provider, for rubric-based feedback;
• GitHub, if a content report is converted into a repository issue;
• content hosting providers used for app content updates and notices;
• Google Drive, if you choose to back up or restore your progress through your Google account;
• Apple, Google, or other app store providers if you download the app through their stores.

We may also disclose information if required to comply with law, protect the app, respond to lawful requests, or enforce the Terms of Service.

Retention

Local progress and settings remain on your device until you reset them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Server-side grading records, usage counts, content reports, and related diagnostics are kept only as long as reasonably needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service, unless a longer period is required by law. Google Drive backups remain in your Google account until you delete them or revoke access through Google account controls, subject to Google's own retention rules.

Your Choices

• You can use core practice features without creating an account.
• You can avoid backend grading by not submitting constructed responses for online grading.
• You can avoid content reports by not using the report feature.
• You can avoid Google Drive backup by not enabling or starting the backup feature.
• You can disable reminders in app settings or through your operating system or browser.
• You can request review or deletion of server-side report or grading records by contacting us with enough information to identify the relevant request, such as a report ID or approximate request time.

Children And Students

The app is intended for exam preparation, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate. Students who are under the age of majority should use the app with permission from a parent or guardian.

Security

We use HTTPS for network requests and service-side controls such as request validation and service tokens where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please avoid submitting sensitive personal information in the app.

International Processing

Service providers may process information in countries or regions other than where you live. By using online features, you understand that information may be transferred and processed where those providers operate.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page shows when this version became effective.
