Handy Series 7 (the “App”) is a study aid for the FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative) exam, published by Perng (“we”, “us”). In short: the App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. It has no account system and runs entirely on your device.
1. Information we collect
None. The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, or any other personal details to use any of its features.
2. Information stored on your device
Your study progress — including quiz results, mock-exam scores, and app settings — is stored locally on your device only, inside the App’s private storage. This information never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us or to any third party, and is not backed up to any server (we operate none). Deleting the App removes this data.
3. No analytics, advertising, or tracking
The App contains no advertising, no analytics or measurement tools, and no third-party tracking technologies. We do not build a profile of you or monitor how you use the App.
4. Optional subscription purchases
The App is free to use. It may offer an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional study features. If you choose to subscribe, the purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and, where applicable, by our subscription provider RevenueCat, Inc., to validate your entitlement. We never see or store your payment-card details, and a purchase is not linked to your name or identity. If you do not subscribe, no purchase data is involved at all. 5. No data sharing or selling
We do not collect personal information, so we have nothing to share or sell. We do not share, rent, or sell personal data to anyone.
6. Permissions and network use
The App does not request access to sensitive device features such as your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photos. Its learning content is bundled with the App, so studying works without an internet connection; a network connection is used only if you choose to make or restore a subscription purchase.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is suitable for users of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no personal data is collected at all, no special data-deletion request is necessary — uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
8. Data security
All app data is kept within your device’s protected app sandbox. Because nothing is transmitted off the device, there is no data transfer to intercept.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and posting the revised policy at this address.
